This decorative piece contains 4 pots stacked together, all carved from the same block of stoneware clay using the traditional Kurinuki technique.
Each of the 4 pots has been hollowed, and a corresponding silver stacking ring designed to fit inside. Each of the 4 silver rings can be worn together to create a detailed stacking ring.
The details on the rings are direct sand castings from the off-cuts of the carving process.
